You have tried every exercise program that has come out, everything from Zumba to extreme yoga. But nothing seems to work. You try it for a while, then become bored and move on. Never finding an exercise plan that works for you.
You begin to wonder if you will ever find the answer for you, and feel like you must be different than all those people in the testimonials (or that they make them up).
You have hit the nail on the head – you are different from everyone else.
Before you begin to stress about being different, remember that this is a good thing. Contrary to popular belief you should not fit nice and neat in a predetermined package. Yet you may still find yourself looking for the perfect fit.
This is where you run into a brick wall. A perfect plan for diet, weight loss and health does not exist. Instead you need to develop a plan that works for you – for your needs.
So where can you even begin to then figure out the right health program for you?
Learn as Much as Possible
Education is power, the more you know about everything health oriented, the better. When you learn about nutrition and work out science you are more empowered to make decisions that work for you.
Conduct a Test
By trying new things you will be able to see if they are right for you. Without trying a boot camp class how are you supposed to know if it is your type of workout.
As you are experimenting you need to remember that one time, one week and one month is just not long enough for you to figure out if it is going to be beneficial for your health. It is one thing to drop a program because you don’t like it and try something new, it is something entirely different to drop it because you see no results after a week. It takes time for your body to adjust to the new program, give the effectiveness experiment at least 6 months to see if it will work.
Evaluate
Taking the time to evaluate a program is what will really help you find a program that works for you. Evaluate everything from skipping work outs, to over eating, too much stress and anytime else that may be impacting the program. Then determine why those are happening. This will allow you to make the right adjustments for success.
Do Again, and Again, and Again
When you continually learn, experiment and evaluate you can make changes to your program that make it right for you. When this happens you will begin to see more and more success. It may be as simple as tweaking how much you eat at breakfast, but you won’t know that unless you keep on trying.
Before you know it you will have your own healthy lifestyle plan. A plan that fits and works perfectly for you.
